Melbourne Fringe Festival 2007

Melbourne Fringe (est. 1982) is an umbrella organisation of, and for, new and established independent artists which celebrates and nurtures the development, presentation and future of new and contemporary artistic work, across all art forms.

For 19 spring days and nights, the city bursts with creativity as the Festival brings innovative work by independent artists. The festival runs from 26th September to 14th October 2007.

One of Melbourne Fringe’s most successful events is Fringe Furniture which has become an iconic event in the Melbourne design calendar. Fringe Furniture is a vehicle for the presentation of one-off furniture designs, from designers across Australia and increasingly, throughout the world.
