I expected far more from this movie. It was lengthy and boring. I also missed the tension and verbal communication.

Have just seen this movie and it is brilliant. Should be compulsory viewing for all Australians. Great job, Warwick Thornton and magnificent acting by the main characters.

I also felt Thornton’s dilemma about the ending…if it had been more tragic, and there was that gazing into the sun from teh moving vehicle time when we all held our breath, when it could have been – but it would have been a very helpless hopeless message BUT part of me thinks he should have gone with it. The romantic in me liked what happened but the realist wanted to be gutted not soothed and placated.

Hi, I saw this movie last week and it was incredibly realistic and moving. I’m from Alice Springs and the movie was so close to the truth that I wish that every individual person in Australia sees it, and more movies such as this.

I took my family to see this flick last night. The summary above is spot on but there is so much more to this very powerful story. I urge everybody to seek it out, see it and then tell all your friends to do the same. Closing the Gap has never seemed a more urgent Issue!
