Well written, and as a resident of this town - I like the atmosphere it brings. I had a great time at many films and functions. As Ryan said - come and see for yourself - What happens in Dungog stays in Dungog.

Cheers Paul (and Sarah).

Paul - yeah look, 'Head On' was such an obvious movie that I had to watch, but I just never actually rented it. Obviously I got it after Dungog, and yeah, it's ace. So so good.

Wow, you didn't recognise Paul Capsis? I loved his performance in Ana Kokkinos' Head On and I've seen him performing on TV a couple of times also. I coulda had a ball sharing a train ride with him.

Your post is a great read and confirms other second-hand accounts I've heard about this unique festival. It sounds like my kinda thing and maybe I'll make it up there one year.
