‘Spring Rolls’ into the Asian Food Festival
Melbourne dining comes alive with hot and spicy, sweet and sour and all those Asian flavours in between at Melbourne’s month long Asian Food Festival 2007.
There are 40 restaurants across Melbourne as well as Australia’s premier Asian dining street “Chinatown” offering all styles of cuisine. Celebrate multicultural Melbourne at a Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, Thai, Japanese or Vietnamese restaurant during the month of September.
This year’s Festival theme, Celebrate Melbourne’s Multicultural Cuisine, starts with a range of hot and spicy Poultry Palace dishes, cooled down with a glass of Palandri Wine. The famous Suckling Pig is served in this Year of the Golden Pig… plus a giant cake to celebrate the Festival’s coming to age – 21 years!!.
